Wireless Transducer Pole, First Mate XT

A telescoping black anodized aluminum pole with a motorized power head, a variable speed dial that runs from a dead stop to 12 RPM, two key fobs, and a wireless foot pedal. Three lengths, from 24 to 64 inches. You supply the transducer and 12V power. Mounts shown in the photos are sold separately, so you can pair the pole with the hardware that actually fits your boat.

Pick the length you want. Ranges are retracted to fully extended, so a pole collapses to the first number and telescopes out to the second.
Optional. Every pole ships the same no matter which sonar you run, so this does not change your order, your price, or what arrives in the box. We just note it on your account so we already know your setup if you call or email with a question.

Mounts

Pick the mount for your boat

The pole ships without a mount, because where it goes on your boat is the part that varies most. All of these clamp to the 1 1/8 inch pipe, and there is about 24 inches of clamping room to work with.

Three things people add to an order. The track plate adapts the universal pole mount to a TraxTech track, the battery box lets the pole run on its own 12V supply instead of the boat's, and the tripod stands the pole up for ice fishing.

Install

How it works

Step 01

Attach the transducer

Bolt your transducer to the universal bracket at the base of the pole using the factory hardware it came with. Line it up to the arrow indicator on the motor housing.

Step 02

Set the depth

Extend the telescoping pole to the depth you want and close the quick release clamp. Each size covers its own range, 24 to 36, 34 to 55, or 42 to 64 inches.

Step 03

Clamp it to the boat

About 24 inches of the pipe is open for mounting, so it takes RAM mounts, tracks, rails, your old manual pole, or the ice tripod. Plug the 12V cable into boat power or a portable battery.

Step 04

Go fish

The fobs and pedal arrive paired, so there is nothing to set up. Set your rotation speed on the power head, anywhere from a dead stop to 12 RPM, and scan left or right while you cast.
