This Ultrex LiveScope mount puts the First Mate XT motorized transducer pole on a Minn Kota Ultrex trolling motor without the stock Ultrex bracket. Our own mounting plate and shaft clamp take its place, so the whole install comes out of one box: plate, clamp, and every piece of stainless hardware. You supply the XT pole and your transducer. It is built for the long shaft XT and it fits the Ultrex only.
What is in the Ultrex LiveScope mount kit
- Mounting plate, machined from solid 6061 aluminum and powder coated.
- XT shaft clamp, the same clamp system we use on our other mounts.
- All stainless steel hardware. Nothing to source at the hardware store.
Every part is aluminum rather than steel so it stays light on the bow. The plate and clamp replace the stock Ultrex style bracket completely, which is why the kit is priced as a mount and not as an adapter for a mount you still have to buy.
How the Ultrex LiveScope mount goes on
The shaft clamp grips the Ultrex shaft. The mounting plate bolts to the clamp and carries the XT. Once the plate is on, the XT pole clamps to it the same way it clamps to a rail or a track, and the power head and transducer ride with the trolling motor. Both key fobs and the wireless foot pedal that ship with the First Mate XT work exactly as they do on any other mount.

Fitment: Ultrex only
This Ultrex LiveScope mount fits the Minn Kota Ultrex. It does not fit the Fortrex or the Quest, and we do not have a kit for those yet. If you run a Lowrance Ghost, the Ghost dog bone mount is the equivalent kit. For rails, tracks, and everything else, start with the universal transducer pole mount. Why we built our own Ultrex LiveScope mount
Anglers kept asking for a way to put the XT on the trolling motor rather than on a separate rail or track plate, so the transducer turns with the motor and the deck stays clear. The stock Ultrex bracket was not designed to carry a motorized pole, and generic clamps either slipped or marked up the shaft. We machined a plate and clamp specifically for the Ultrex shaft, powder coated them, and packed them with stainless hardware so the kit lasts as long as the motor does.

Ultrex LiveScope mount questions we get most
Does it fit the Ultrex Quest or the Fortrex?
No. The shaft clamp is sized for the Ultrex shaft. The Quest and Fortrex are different, and this kit will not fit them.
Do I still need the stock Ultrex bracket?
No. The plate and clamp in this kit take its place, so you can leave the stock bracket in the drawer.
Which XT length do I need?
The kit is built for the long shaft XT. If you already own a shorter one and want it on the Ultrex, get in touch before you order and we will tell you whether it will reach.
Will it work with Humminbird or Lowrance sonar?
Yes. The mount carries the XT pole, and the XT takes any current live sonar transducer on its round post, so Garmin LiveScope, Humminbird MEGA Live, and Lowrance ActiveTarget all ride on it.
