First Mate Fishing – User Data Deletion Instructions

If you created a First Mate Fishing account using Facebook Login, you may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

First Mate Fishing does not store unnecessary personal information, but we will permanently remove anything linked to your account upon request.

How to Delete Your Account (Facebook Login Users)

Because accounts created through Facebook Login do not have an in-app delete button yet, user deletion is currently handled manually.

To request the deletion of your data:

1. Send an email to:

2. Include the following information:

• Your full name
• The email address connected to your Facebook account
• A statement requesting account deletion
• Optional: Your First Mate Fishing username (if applicable)

What Happens When Your Account Is Deleted

Once your request is verified:

✔ Your First Mate Fishing account will be permanently deleted
✔ All associated data will be removed from our system
✔ You will no longer be able to log in with Facebook
✔ This action cannot be undone

You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

Facebook App Data Deletion Compliance

If you are trying to delete your data directly from Facebook:

You may also remove First Mate Fishing’s access from your Facebook account by visiting:

Facebook → Settings → Security → Apps and Websites
Remove First Mate Fishing from the active apps list.

This will disconnect Facebook fromFirst Mate Fishing, but you must still email us to permanently delete your First Mate Fishing account data.
