Shipping & Returns Policy

1. Shipping Policy

We believe you should spend your money on lures, not logistics. That’s why we offer Free Standard Shipping on most orders.

  • Standard Shipping: Free of charge for typical domestic orders.

  • Non-Typical Shipments: In rare cases involving oversized items (e.g., longer poles) or expedited requests, additional shipping fees may apply. These costs will be clearly calculated and displayed at checkout.

  • Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 3 to 5 business days. You will receive a tracking number via email once your gear is en route.

2. 30-Day "Love It" Guarantee (Returns)

If your purchase doesn’t meet your expectations, you have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return for a full refund.

To qualify for a refund:

  • Complete Package: Items must be returned with all original packaging, manuals, and accessories included.

  • Condition: Items should be in original, sellable condition.

  • Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.

3. How to Start a Return

To begin the process, please contact our crew at support@firstmatefishing.com with your order number. We will provide you with the return shipping address and instructions.

4. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your item. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-7 business days.

5. Damaged or Defective Items

If your gear arrives damaged from the journey, please contact us immediately. We will make it right at no additional cost to you.
