Limited Warranty

First Mate Fishing warrants the First Mate XT live sonar pole against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase.

This warranty covers the primary components of the First Mate XT, including:

• The motor assembly and internal electronic control boards.

• The structural integrity of the steel pole components and protective housing.

• The wireless remote control and receiver functionality.

This limited warranty does not apply to:

• Mounting Failures: Damage caused by the user’s choice of mounting hardware, location, or installation method.

• Power Negligence: Damage to the motor or electronics caused by failure to disconnect the power cable when unattended, or failure to use a properly fused circuit.

• Impact Damage: Damage caused by hitting underwater obstructions (stumps, rocks, etc.), trailering the boat with the pole deployed, or high-speed travel while the pole is in the water.

• Environmental Exposure: Damage resulting from the control box being submerged or exposed to high-pressure washing.
