Our Universal Design allows you to mount the pole anywhere you want.
Transducer Integration
Securely attach your transducer to the universal mounting bracket located at the base of the telescoping pole. Our design is engineered for seamless installation using your original factory-supplied hardware and is fully compatible with all industry-standard transducer models. Just like it up to the arrow indicator on the motor housing.
Precision Pole Adjustment
Easily customize your transducer depth by extending the telescoping pole to your preferred length. Once positioned, the integrated quick-release clamp locks the system firmly in place. The First Mate XT offers a versatile range of motion, measuring 34″ when retracted and extending to a full 54″ for deeper water applications.
Deploy into Water
Deploy your system with confidence from a kayak, boat, or dock. The 1 1/8″ OD pipe provides approximately 24″ of flexible mounting space, allowing for effortless compatibility with a wide range of aftermarket solutions, including RAM® mounts and universal rail clamps. For specialized winter use, pair your system with our dedicated ice mount attachment.

Every First Mate XT comes standard with two wireless key fobs and a wireless foot pedal, giving you multiple ways to steer your transducer. Forget the hassle of manual poles that require you to stop fishing just to make an adjustment; with our system, precision tuning is as simple as a button press.

Precision 360° Scouting
Our indicator rotation design allows for just over 360 degree rotation so you don’t have to deal with blind spots. Limit switches built in allow the pole to keep from winding your transducer cable up but still allow more that 360 degrees.

You’re in total command. Use the integrated manual dial on the power head to fine-tune your rotation speed instantly, allowing for ultra-precise scanning when you’re zeroing in on a trophy.
